This beautiful brick historic home is a Clarence H. Johnston original and it shows. Built for the Gregg family in 1896 it sits beautifully among the other historic homes in the Ramsey Hill Historic District also known as Cathedral Hill. The Greggs were new rich in 1896, iron merchants. The home has a unique set up with large open spaces with pocket doors that offer different options for use. There is a large porch with a swing that is great for just hanging out with friends and letting the world stroll by.
The Historic District Bed and Breakfast caters to romantic couples, super shoppers, and those visiting family in the area; because of the close proximity to so many terrific colleges we host parents and family visiting students.
We allow well behaved dogs in Carriage House and the Clarence Johnston Suite; there is a lot of great dog walking areas around. St. Paul is very dog-friendly. ($50 dog surcharge per stay)
