It also has in-floor heating. This makes for a great location for the innkeeper’s private quarters. It also serves as a great area for our crafting/scrapbooking ladies’ groups that stay in the off season. The B&B offers 6 spacious rooms with ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. Three of the rooms have double whirlpool tubs and 4 have electric fireplaces. The rooms have been refreshed with up-to-date décor along with quality linens. Our large parking area offers all off-street parking for our guests, and we can even have an area for a guest to park a boat and trailer. The lot is surrounded by mature pine trees that provides a quieter and peaceful setting. We are within walking distance to downtown Green Lake and to the lake, only a three-minute walk. There is also a bike path at the end of our street for bike enthusiasts. This is an active B&B with good revenue and many repeat guests. A new website was launched in 2016 and has been maintained yearly with enhancements made in 2020. A new outdoor business sign was installed in 2017. Our ongoing trip advisor reviews have attracted many new guests who then become repeat guests. Green Lake is the deepest lake in WI and attracts many tourists with boating, fishing, jet skiing, paddleboarding, sail boating, kayaking besides just swimming. In the summer there is always something to do! Besides various events, there are free concerts in the park on Wednesday nights, 4th of July fireworks, and live bands at restaurants and bars almost every weekend. The Thrasher Opera House also provides many great concerts throughout the year. These events and concerts draw people from all over and many stay overnight as our guests. Then we have guests that just want to come and get away and relax from it all. With our location, we provide just that, especially with a glass of wine on the porch and a stroll around the house to view the various gardens. Green Lake has been able to retain its small charm of a small town while still focusing their attention on outside visitors, therefore making it a great place to visit and live. Our guests always comment on what a beautiful place Green Lake is and that it has so much to offer. Green Lake also hosts several golf courses within a 10-mile radius, 2 of which are local and just up the road. You can also enjoy biking, hiking, shopping, and several great restaurants to choose from.
