Your Valley Springs Farm Bed & Breakfast experience in Wisconsin takes you out to the tranquility of the farm, where the only noises you’ll hear are the sounds of farm animals and an occasional tractor. No matter the season – springtime smells of freshly tilled earth, fresh cut alfalfa hay in the summer, brilliant autumn hues surrounding the valley or winter’s snow-covered blanket – it will take you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Innkeepers Don and Dorothy Harms welcome you to a relaxing getaway at their farm home.
Valley Springs Farm Bed & Breakfast is located 7 miles from Reedsburg, 17 miles from Wisconsin Dells, and 24 miles from Spring Green, making it a great location for all kinds of activities. There are many things to do in the Reedsburg area, from hiking to biking and shopping to dining. Your days will be filled with places to go, see, and have fun. Then, come back to the farm to rest your feet and enjoy a delicious home-style breakfast before starting all over the next day. The Reedsburg area is home to a large Amish community of artisans, weekly farmers markets and other community events – ask us for details.
Consider learning the lost (almost) culinary arts of “putting food up” and the food artisan skills of pressure and water bath canning, fermenting, making meals from scratch, baking and cooking from whole foods, and jam/jelly making during your stay. We invite you to make memories, eat great food, and gain skills you can really use! Classes can be added to your stay.
Our operation is a Grass-Fed and grass-finished system. Our cattle are primarily pasture-fed with supplemented forage and silage. We feel that it is our responsibility to be good stewards of the land. We invite you to embark on a journey that inspires and connects you to the remarkable world around us. Bring your coolers to take home locally produced goodness from our Farm Store.
