Eagle Centre House Bed and Breakfast is an authentic replica of an 1846 Greek Revival Stagecoach Inn in the scenic Southern Kettle Moraine. We offer comfortable, romantic Bed and Breakfast lodging in Eagle across from Old World Wisconsin Outdoor Living History Museum. The Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest surrounds us, and the Headquarters & Museum are only 3 miles away. The Kettle Moraine offers miles of hiking, biking and x-country ski trails, including segments of the Ice Age Trail. The B & B is situated on 20 acres known as Eagle Centre Prairie, a Conservancy with a path for guests to hike.
From the front parlor to third-floor bedrooms, you will enjoy the splendid collection of carefully assembled period antiques from 1810-1880. The “Tap Room” is a great place to play a board game and visit with other guests. Seasonally, the wood-burning stove will warm you. (We’re fully air-conditioned for the other seasons!). Guests are also welcome to relax in the Ladies’ Parlor. A full, candlelight breakfast is included and served in the dining room that doubled as the “dance hall” in earlier days. Breakfast will add to the romantic journey into the past as it is served on “Tea-Leaf” Ironstone china (c. 1855 plus). Take your time, and eat heartily.
For pure relaxing pleasure, two spacious, second-floor bedchambers feature comfortable seating, a fireplace and double whirlpool tub, truly large enough for two, in an oversize adjoining bath. The spacious third-floor bedchambers boast two beds, comfortable seating and a standard adjoining bath with shower.
