This exquisite area has many Hemingway tales, as the author lived and experienced this area, using it as inspiration for his work.
The inn offers seven uniquely themed guest rooms, each a haven of comfort and luxury. Decked out with everything you’ll need, from cozy robes to comfy hand-made queen beds, the rooms are designed with your comfort in mind. The Garden Room is the innkeeper’s favorite, and they brought the beauty of the gardens surrounding the inn inside this sun-filled room. Have your morning coffee at the bistro table in the bay window, or step out the glass doors onto the deck overlooking the gardens. Tucked in a corner of the room is a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. The spacious private bath has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Guests enjoy “scenic breakfasts” as breakfast is served in a four-season sunroom that overlooks the beautiful pond, gardens, and pool beyond. You’ll find it challenging to resist the allure of both.” Some guest favorites include Berry Stuffed French Toast and the Horton Creek Version of Eggs Benedict, which is a grilled croissant and egg with turkey, asparagus, and hollandaise sauce.
