A Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast was built by innkeeper Robert and the late Theresa Dove to raise their children, making it a true Dove nest. The 112 acres are full of wildflowers and National Wildlife Certified Wildlife Habitat areas. Expect wildflowers, wildlife, and starry nights when you stay at this pastoral retreat in the Thumb.
None of the wildlife at A Dove Nest is caged. Instead, it is allowed to exist in its natural habitat.
A Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast is not for everyone. It is, however, the perfect place for all who wish to experience Pure Michigan at its finest. The grounds are home to several protected and endangered Michigan wildflowers left to thrive in their natural habitat.
Lake Huron beaches and the town of Port Sanilac are 32 miles east. An entrance to I-75 is 36 miles west. The charms of Frankenmuth are less than 35 miles southwest.
A Dove Nest is more than a bed and breakfast. It is a destination to be treasured, located in the heart of Michigan’s Thumb area and surrounded by all the great experiences the Thumb has to offer.
