The Muse Gallery Guesthouse is a bed and breakfast/vacation rental home occupying a Victorian-style home built in 1889. It is conveniently located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are the peacock blue house with the gardens on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Winchester Street in the heart of Bay View – Milwaukee’s trendiest neighborhood. The inn is a mile from the shores of Lake Michigan and equidistant between the airport, downtown Milwaukee, the Harley-Davidson museum and the American Family Field – home of the Milwaukee Brewers. We are also just down the street from the Lake Express fast ferry port.
We have 4 rooms – each with a private bathroom. One is a suite of rooms with two bedrooms that can accommodate 4 guests. We serve a three course gourmet breakfast each morning at 8:30 and will happily adapt breakfast to specific dietary requirements.
Each room has luxury linens, extra pillows, an iHome Bluetooth clock radio, TV with a Netflix subscription, a small library, hairdryer, art by local artists, complimentary toiletries and plenty of outlets for electronic devices. Other general amenities include a fully equipped community guest kitchen, iron/ironing board, free off-street parking, free Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks and beverages including a wine welcome hour, and a gift shop featuring art from local artists.
The Muse Gallery Guesthouse is available for rental as a vacation home and as such provides wonderful accommodations for larger parties traveling together. Book the house as a spacious, self-catering vacation rental home to comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. Reservations for the whole inn must be made directly by phone and can not be made online.
The Muse is also an art gallery filled with a rotating exhibition of a wide variety of art, guaranteed to enhance a guest’s stay and inspire creativity.
Every room has original art by local artists. All exhibited art is available for purchase. We are committed to helping support Wisconsin’s vibrant artists. Art is rotated several times a year so that guests may enjoy a whole new exhibition on subsequent visits.
